New season of Sound Euphonium in April

The musical anime Sound! Euphonium will return in April 2024 with a third season!

Along with a keyframe, the voice behind a new character has been revealed. Haruka Tomatsu will play Mayu Kuroe, a student who transfers to Kitauji High School from another school with a prestigious marching band.

Inspired by Ayano Takeda's light-hearted short story series, Sound! Euphonium revolves around the Kitauji High School Marching Band Club.

Kyoto Animation produced the television anime adaptation, which aired in 2015 with a second season following in 2016. A series of animated films were also produced, including a spin-off titled Liz and the Blue Bird .

The third season of the TV anime will follow Kumiko during her third year of high school.

Sound! Euphonium Season 3 will air from April 2024.
