Yuki Kaji - Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer)

Yuki Kaji, (梶裕貴, Kaji Yuki), was born on September 3, 1985 in Tokyo, Japan. Kaji is a voice actor and singer affiliated with the VIMS agency and has been active since 2004. He voices Sabito (錆さび兎と Sabito) in Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) who appears at the beginning of the series to assist Tanjiro Kamado. He has lent his voice to many important male characters throughout his career, but is also known for his ability to raise his pitch to the voice of a younger character.

Kaji enrolled at the Japan Institute of Narration and Performance where he specialized in narration and voice acting for anime. He debuted under the talent agency Arts Vision as a voice actor in 2004, and two years later, he landed his first anime role in "Fushigihoshi no Futagohime."

Yuki Kaji has played a number of main character roles in TV anime such as Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan, Issei Hyodo in High School DxD, Shu Ouma in Guilty Crown, Alibaba in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Meliodas in The Seven Deadly Sins to name a few as well as many protagonist roles for other TV anime such as Inazuma Eleven, Pokemon XY, One-punch man, Todoroki Shoto in My Hero Academia and Kozune Kenma in Haikyuu.

It's fair to say that Yuki Kaji can play a variety of character types and ages, but he is often a man with a charismatic or quirky personality who often encounters phases of development, thus being suited to dubbing for main character roles.

Yuki Kaji won the Best Rookie Actor award at the 3rd Seiyu Awards in 2009. He also won the Best Voice Actor award two consecutive years at the 7th Seiyuu Awards and 8th Seiyuu Awards in 2013 and 2014. He also hosted a web radio show called Yuki Kaji's Monologue (梶裕貴のひとりごとKaji Yūki no Hitorigoto) and directed a variety show called Kaji 100!: The 100 Things Yuki Kaji Wants to Do in 2017.

Yuki Kaji was born in Tokyo but grew up with his younger sister in Saitama. Since high school, he always wanted to become a voice actor and immediately joined the drama club. He was able to learn basic acting skills and was given a lead role at his school.

When he first met Tanjiro Kamado, he was a serious young man who was passionate about the ideology of manhood and ruthlessly trained Tanjiro to make all his actions to become a man.
