Ymir Fritz - Attack on Titan
Ymir Fritz gained the power of a Titan when she was a young girl. Being the first person to become a Titan shifter in The Founding Titan, Ymir Fritz is said to be the founder of the Eldian Empire and the "People of Ymir," the only race of people who can be transformed into Titans.
In the book Historia Riess ( Krista Lenz ) held, there is a picture of Ymir Fritz's encounter with the "Devil of All Earth" in which after she became the first person to gain the power of the Titans and is later known as the predecessor of all Titans.

As a child - Ymir Fritz is a small girl with straight, light-colored hair. In her slave appearance, she wears a loose, worn, light-colored top with a headband that is also worn, a belt, and leather sandals.

In the book/Meeting with the Devil - In the anime, Ymir Fritz's encounter with the Devil is shown in more detail. She appears to have long, light hair, wear a dress, and be holding an apple or some sort of large, hairy devil fruit.
The Power of the Titan
Ymir Fritz had the power of the Founding Titan . Ymir, under the Fritz royal family, shaped the land and built bridges with her Titan powers, bringing great wealth to the Eldians. Her immense powers were also used to defeat Marley's armies. Ymir was considered a "God-given miracle" by the Eldians and that Ymir and Ymir's subjects (the nine Titans) are "God's chosen children" by the Eldians.
Ymir Fritz gained the power of the Titans over 1,820 years ago. While it is unknown exactly what Ymir Fritz did with the Titan powers, she died 13 years after awakening the power of the Titans and the soul was split into nine parts becoming the "Nine Titans" (Kokonotsu no Kyojin) which are The Founding Titan None Attack on Titan None The Colossal Titan None The Female Titan None The Armored Titan None The Beast Titan None The Jaw Titan None The Chariot Titan and The Warhammer Titan . It is later discovered that people who inherit the power of the "Nine Titans" only live for 13 years after becoming a Titan shifter and this is called "Ymir's Curse", given the same 13 years that Ymir Fritz lived as the original holder of the Titan powers.
Personality
There are mixed opinions and beliefs about Ymir Fritz's personality, and it still remains a bit of a mystery because she is a legendary figure who started the history of Titan. When Frieda Reiss talks about Ymir to her younger half-sister Historia in Manga Attack on Titan: Chapter 54, she says that she was a "kind girl who always thought of others" and wished Historia was like her. The Eldians have a deep respect for Ymir because of how she strengthened the Eldian Empire. But the people of Marley, known as Marleyans, believe that Ymir was a pawn of the Devil of All Earth because of the agreement and meeting between Ymir Fritz and the Devil.
But in recent chapters, we discover that she is the slave of the Eldian king and has no will of her own as she is subservient to the king in life. The creation of the empire, the building of bridges, and the defeat of the empire's enemies are all under her command. This is revealed in Manga Attack on Titan: Chapter 120 and 122. She sacrificed her own life for the Eldian king, jumping in front of him to block the spear that was aimed at the king. After Ymir dies protecting the king, her corpse is eaten by the girls, Maria, Rose, and Sheena, who are the names of the three walls of Paradis Island. Even after her death, Ymir's soul remains in the "Coordinate," a channel that connects all the Titans and Ymir's subjects together, where she shapes the Titans from sand and is always obedient to the Eldian royal family.
She was able to embrace her own free will after meeting Eren Yeager in Chapter 122 [Attack on Titan Manga: Chapter 122] But it still remains a mystery.
Mythology
The Eldians regard Ymir as a divine miracle. The Restorationist Eldians, a group of Eldians who planned to destroy the Marlyans with the power of the Founding Titan, claimed that Ymir and all of Ymir's subjects were "God's chosen children," with Ymir Fritz being considered a goddess.
Closer to the present, after Ymir is known as a person from the distant past, we see Frieda Reiss telling Historia ( Krista Lenz ) about the story of Ymir's deal with the Devil. In the book, Ymir is named "Krista", Frieda says that she was a kind and loving girl who always thought of others and that Historia should aim to be like "Krista". Historia does not clearly remember her visits with Frieda after the Founding Titan 's power was used by Frieda to erase her memories after each visit. This results in Historia only having hazy remnants of memory of "Krista" which are displayed as vague images in the manga and anime.
