Touhou Project 1 - Nendoroid
None Touhou Project (literally "East Project") is originally a series of over 15 vertically scrolling games in the "danmaku," or "bullet hell," genre, which first saw the light of day in 1996 on the NEC PC-9800 platform and was developed by a one-man team, Jun'ya "ZUN" Ōta. Since 2002, the transition has been made to Touhou games for Windows and PlayStation. Most games have many new characters and new stories from the game world, and all have excellent music.
ZUN has declared its intellectual property to be freely available, which appears to have led to an explosion of dôjin spin-offs and the game's popularity. Some of the games released in collaboration with Tasogare Frontier belong to a different genre: fighting, including online play.
Additionally, Touhou Project has a wealth of official printed works and millions of beautiful fan art pieces on pixiv, nico seiga, deviantArt, etc. The amount of dōjin-arranged music and voice dramas from the games deserves special mention, with its presence being huge at every Comic Market, even a Touhou -only Reitaisai, and other events for at least a decade.
History of the Touhou Project and the Nendoroid
Starting with Remilia, Reimu , and Marisa , the characters from the Windows platform game series have been part of the Nendoroid project since 2010, and there are twenty of them in total, covering all the major players in the series.

#092 Marisa Kirisame
This Nendoroid recreates the spirited and energetic tomboy, human witch Marisa Kirisame . A deuteragonist of theTouhou series, she lives in the Magic Forest, is friends with Reimu , though they sometimes fight, and she likes to take what she likes for her own. Marisa first appeared as a subordinate of Mima and obstructed Reimu's path to reach the boss. The two fought, resulting in Marisa's defeat. However, they later became friends, and she later appeared on the same side as Reimu. Although they became friends, during other events, Marisa sometimes reappeared as an enemy.
Always a prankster and a prude, she's a fan of flashy things, and it's easy to dismiss her as shallow, but all her magic is hard-earned, unlike all the other mages in Gensōkyō who are born with it. She's a very confident character and likes to poke her nose into trouble because she's curious. Marisa never backs down from a challenge, and overall, she's everyone's favorite.

Her flying witch's broom is also included, as well as the iconic eight-trigram furnace for Marisa Kirisame's best combat magic. Her incredible pointy black witch's hat with the iconic large white bow can, however, be removed.
#074 Reimu Hakurei
This figure is a Nendoroid-sized representation of the protagonist of everyTouhou game, the strict but kind-hearted "red and white" human shrine maiden Reimu Hakurei . As the only shrine maiden, she is often asked to investigate strange occurrences. Even if she is not called upon, Reimu takes it upon herself to investigate any trouble that occurs in Gensokyo.
She is a rather optimistic girl and very friendly even towards people who are her adversaries. Even if she fights someone who was her enemy, they would then, most of the time, become her friend. Endowed with a magical and powerful gift, she is able to fly without any tools, sending any youkai who disturbs the peace to flight. She must maintain the peace for everyone, though few coins ever land in the donation box at her shrine, which stresses her out even more. Like most residents of Gensokyo, she is very self-confident and unyielding. However, her favorite pastime is tea time, and she rarely cares about a specific party or guests.

Reimu Hakurei has interchangeable expressions for her usual welcoming gaze and a big, relaxed smile (and a traditional teacup) for a happy tea time or more. On duty, she is accompanied by her trusty exorcist wand and some magic cards to use against evil spirits. The base of the stand with the yin and yang sign is not pictured.
This adorable Nendoroid figure of Reimu shows her wearing her usual shrine maiden outfit. Her hair has a large, signature red bow that she uses to tie her hair in a half-up style. She wears a red and white dress with a yellow bow tied around her collar. The design is reminiscent of a shrine maiden outfit due to the sleeves being white with red stitching around the edges.
