Gege Akutami's hit manga Jujutsu Kaisen was released in March 2018. The series is still ongoing, with the latest chapter 244 on Viz Media. An anime adaptation was produced through Mappa Studio in October 2020, which includes two seasons and a prequel film. The unique plot, beautiful animation and variety of characters immediately won over millions of fans. This therefore makes it a highly anticipated and popular series.

25) Kokichi Muta
We will start this ranking of the strongest Jujutsu Kaisen wizards with Kokichi Muta. He is better known by his peers as Mechamaru. Kokichi is a second year student at Kyoto Jujutsu High and is a semi-level 1 jujutsu wizard. He has been unlucky his entire life, having been born with a body too weak to function normally.
Because of this, he must stay in a dark room, submerged in fluids just to survive. But in exchange for his weak body, he gained a celestial restriction that allows him to manipulate puppets with his cursed energy at great distances. Through this celestial restriction, he uses his cursed technique, Puppet Manipulation, to manipulate Mechamaru and live through him.
24) Inumaki Toga
A fan-favorite character, Toge Inumaki is a second-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and a semi-level 1 jujutsu wizard. He is a classmate and close friend of , , and Panda . Inumaki is known for only talking about the ingredients of onigiri, making him incomprehensible to others, although his close friends and associates can understand him.
As a member of the Inumaki family, Toge is a user of Cursed Speech. By channeling his cursed energy into his voice, he can command anyone to do anything he wants. His curse speech works on both cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers. However, every time he uses his curse speech, he is hit with a retort. So, if he uses his cursed speech on an opponent who is too powerful or issues an order that is too powerful, he takes a heavy blow.

No one loves money more than Mei Mei. She is a level 1 jujutsu witch who works independently and accepts missions in exchange for money. She is also the eldest child of , , and Shoko Ieiri, and has worked with Utahime Iori in the past.
Mei's cursed technique is Black Bird Manipulation which allows her to manipulate a horde of crows. She can use ravens for surveillance and for offensive and defensive purposes. They also help her when she fights her opponents with her battle axe.
Mei Mei may not stand a chance against Gojo, Geto, or Yuta, but she is still one of the most powerful wizards in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Master Tengen is an immortal Jujutsu wizard who has lived for centuries and is the foundation of Jujutsu World. They were revealed in chapter 144, confined in the Star Corridor Tombs. They have the most powerful barrier technique in all of history.
Master Tengen's cursed technique is the reason why Jujutsu High is protected and changes structure every day while remaining hidden from the outside world for centuries. Additionally, due to its barrier around Jujutsu High's two campuses, the principals' barrier techniques are also amplified, allowing them to throw curtains.
They also have an impenetrable cloaking technique that guards the warehouse of cursed tools and the entrance to their sanctuary with thousands of swinging doors. They may not have offensive powers, but they deserve to be on our list.
21) Naoya Zenine

is the prodigy wizard of Jujutsu Kaisen. It was introduced in chapter 158 during . He is an exceptional genius and just a lawyer. His cursed techniques also rely on law and justice since he despises injustice.
Hiromi was initially a non-wizard until he was affected by Inactive Shapeshifting during the Shibuya Incident arc; as a result, his ability to use cursed techniques was unlocked. This also revealed that although he was not a wizard, he was marked by Kenjaku due to his raw talent and genius.
Within 12 days of awakening his cursed techniques, he was on par with first-rank wizards. Hiromi uses a black shikigami, Judgeman and Gavel's cursed tool in his domain expansion. Once someone enters their domain, they are forced to follow all of their rules and be judged.

19) Yuji Itadori
is the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen who became the vessel of after ingesting one of his fingers. After being sentenced to death, he was forced to become a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, intending to eat all of Sukuna's fingers and die, thus killing the cursed spirit.
Yuji has always been extraordinarily athletic and possesses almost superhuman strength. Although he didn't know how to channel his cursed energy at first, he later learned how to do so and devised a technique called Divergent Fist. Yuji is also one of only three wizards to perform Black Flash four times in a row.
He currently does not have a cursed technique yet. But his strength and martial arts skills are enough to make him one of the most powerful wizards in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Megumi Fushiguro is one of the series' fan-favorite characters. He was introduced from the first chapter of the manga. He is currently a level 2 wizard belonging to the Zenin family. Sukuna himself even recognized his potential during their second meeting in the series, and Megumi was able to survive fighting Sukuna. Additionally, it is also conceded by Gojo, Mei Mei, Aoi Todo and his comrades.
As for his sorcery, he is a prodigy level Shikigami user. His cursed technique is the Zenin family's coveted Ten Shadow Technique. His fighting style is special and versatile as he combines it with his exceptional hand-to-hand combat skills using a wide range of cursed tools. He is capable of summoning and controlling multiple powerful shikigami simultaneously.
Megumi was able to summon using her Ten Shadows Technique. General Mahoraga is the most powerful shikigami, and no user has been able to exorcise him throughout history.

17) Kento Nanami

15) Dhruv Lakdawalla
Dhruv Lakdawalla is one of the characters played by Kenjaku and revealed in chapter 173. He was so powerful during his original life that he single-handedly conquered Japan during the Wa Civil War. This alone tells us what an incredibly strong wizard he is.

13) Takako Uro
Takako Uro is another of the characters played by Kenjaku for the Culling Game. She was introduced in chapter 173. In her original life, she was the captain of a dangerous group of Jujutsu wizard assassins. As an assassin, she is an incredibly strong and skilled person.

12) Ryu Ishigori
Ryu Ishigori is another of the past characters played by Kenjaku and was revealed in chapter 173. He is a humorous and cool guy who added a lot of sass to the series. He has a frightening level of destructive cursed energy. Much like his personality, his cursed offensive techniques have spread across many city blocks.
Ryu can attack cursed energy beams from his hair which are almost impossible to deflect or counter. He has the highest level of cursed energy among all Culling Game participants!
11) Yorozu
Yorozu is another ancient curse user from a thousand years ago who incarnated into Tsumiki Fushiguro's body during the Culling Game. Aside from being one of the most powerful wizards in Jujutsu Kaisen, she also has an obsession with Sukuna who she claims to love and wants to marry.
Yorozu's innate cursed technique, Construction, allows her to create any substance she is familiar with, including liquid metal, insect wings, and insect armor. She can also create True Sphere which negates the laws of physics. Its domain extension is called Triple Affliction.
10) Hajime Kashimo
Hajime Kashimo is another character resurrected from the past in a temporary vessel for the Culling game, revealed in chapter 158, as a 400-year-old wizard who existed as a cursed object due to a binding vow with Kenjaku.
During his lifetime, he was known as the God of Lightning due to his cursed energy and combat prowess. His cursed energy is electrified and he can manipulate it to deliver a deadly electric shock. It's strong enough that Kashimo doesn't need to use his cursed technique often.
His innate cursed technique is mythical beast amber which is so powerful that his body surpasses the human realm and its cursed energy must rebuild his flesh. Kashimo uses this technique against Sukuna.
9) Kinji Hakari
is a rebellious third-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High who was suspended for his twisted philosophy and refused to follow the school's rules and regulations. We have several characters recognizing its power.
Satoru Gojo mentioned that he believed Kinji would be able to surpass him in the near future. Yuta also recognized that Kinji is more powerful than him if he is sane.
Additionally, we also witness his powers when he fought Itadori Yuji. Kinji dealt fatal damage to Yuji during their hand-to-hand combat. He has proven to be an exceptional Taijutsu specialist, making him one of the most powerful sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen.
8) Uraume
The next entry is a curse user from a thousand years ago and is one of the most powerful sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. was a disciple of Sukuna who was chosen to stay alongside the King of Curses due to his ability to cook human flesh. Over the years, they have been Sukuna's most loyal acolytes.
Uraume's innate cursed technique is Ice Formation which allows them to transform their cursed energy into ice-based attacks. For now, they have demonstrated two more powerful ice attacks named Frost Calm and Icefall. They can also use the Reverse Cursed technique.
7) Suguru Geto
Suguru Geto is an antagonist of the series who gives us a mirror image of Satoru Gojo but evil. He first appeared under his own name in chapter 65 of the manga. Gojo and Suguru were prodigies under Masamichi Yaga during their student years and were considered the most powerful wizards.
Unfortunately, Suguru had a deep hatred towards non-wizards and wished to eradicate them, which led him to the massacre of over a hundred civilians. After his expulsion, he plotted against Jujutsu High to destroy them and steal the special quality cursed spirit, Rika Orimoto.
He was such a manipulator that he recruited thousands of wizards, brainwashing them into sharing his ideology and participating in his revolution.

6) Yuki Tsukumo
Being one of the four special grade jujutsu wizards, Yuki Tsukumo is undoubtedly one of the most powerful wizards in Jujutsu Kaisen. Although she is exceptionally powerful, she usually stays in the background because she disagrees with the higher-ups in the jujutsu world.
Yuki has the noble goal of finding a way to eradicate all curses from the world. Her innate cursed technique is Star Rage which allows her to manipulate the mass of herself and her Shikigami Garuda. It can also use RCT and domain amplification and has a domain extension.
5) Hana Kurusu
Hana Kurusu is currently the mysterious wizard mentioned by Master Tengen, living a thousand years ago. She is nicknamed "angel" due to her appearance and her dangerous cursed technique. She is also one of the participants in the Culling Game. However, very little is known about her.
Hana's cursed technique allows her to extinguish any type of cursed technique presented in front of her, as mentioned by Master Tengen. Therefore, she becomes the key to even opening the Prison Realm and unsealing Satoru Gojo. Her technique alone is enough for us to put her in fifth place for now.
4) Zenine Maki
Maki Zenin is the epitome of resilience and hard work and made her debut in chapter 10 of the manga. However, she had negligible cursed energy and couldn't even see curses. As a result, she was rejected and mistreated by the Zenin family until she left them and swore to become the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer just to spite them.
She is a specialist in cursed tools and naturally possesses superhuman strength. No other student could defeat her in hand-to-hand combat at Jujutsu High. We see a great example of his power and intelligence during his battle against Hanami, a finger wielder, cursed spirit of special quality.
Almost everyone in the anime recognizes Maki's strength, and the only reason she's stuck as a level 4 witch is due to the intervention of the Zenin family.

3) Kenjaku
Kenjaku is the mastermind of all of the series' evil plots that have spanned centuries. He's an ancient wizard with a twisted motto and ambitions; "Advance humanity through cursed energy."
His dream led him to carry out countless experiments like the Cursed Womb: the Paintings of Death, the reincarnation of many wizards, the transfer of his brain into different bodies to stay alive for centuries, etc.
He currently possesses Suguru Geto's body after Yuta Okkotsu defeated him. Transferring his brain into anyone's body, dead or alive, grants him access to their memories, cursed energy, cursed skills and techniques and is not even detected by Six Eyes.
As a result, he can use Cursed Spirit Manipulation, Idle Transfiguration, Maximum: Uzumaki, Reverse Cursed Technique, and Innate Techniques.

He was recruited by none other than Gojo to Jujutsu High and is currently a second year student. Soon after, he was able to fully manifest Rika and unleash her invincible potential and power.

Satoru Gojo is the most popular character in the series. Gojo is already recognized as the most powerful wizard in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a special level wizard and teacher at Jujutsu High in Tokyo. He is the pride of the Gojo family as he is the first member of the family to simultaneously inherit their most powerful traits, the cursed techniques Limitless and Six Eyes, in 400 years.
Gojo has a charming and carefree personality. He cares deeply for his students and protects them from many of the internal politics of the Jujutsu world, especially the series' protagonist, Yuji Itadori.
Gojo's domain expansion and control of his massive cursed energy is so overwhelming that he can cast a must-domain multiple times per day. On the other hand, most powerful wizards can only cast it once per day.
