Top 10 Best Horimiya Characters From Season 2

10) Akane Yanagi

Akane Yanagi

If there is one character who is more beautiful than in the entire series, it is Yanagi. He is the last to join the group since he is a new student.

Yanagi first enters the story as the guy who likes Yuki and confessed to her. But even after she rejects him, he continues to be good friends with the group.

Yanagi's most hilarious scenes are the ones where he can't see anything because his vision is so bad. This gets a lot of laughs, which makes him one of Horimiya's best characters.

9) Yuki Yoshikawa

Yuki Yoshikawa

Besides the main couple, there is an ongoing love quadruplet, at the center of which is Yuki. She is best friends with Hori and close friends with Ishikawa, and later becomes friends with Miyamura.

Although she and Ishikawa are initially just friends, she develops feelings for him and cannot decide when Yanagi will confess to him.

Yuki is as cute in Horimiya Season 2 as she was in Season 1. Her little moments with Ishikawa are explored more through small glimpses. But it's his time to teach Sakura that cheerleading may be her best.

8) Sakura Kouno

Sakura Kouno

Perhaps the most normal character in Horimiya's main group is Sakura. She is the best friend of and a member of the student council.

Polite, gentle, and kind, Sakura is a gentle girl who balances Remi's impulsiveness and Sengoku's extravagant seriousness.

After witnessing Ishikawa's caring nature, she falls in love with him, but is unable to confess it due to her insecurity. Even though we know she doesn't end up with him, season 2 gives many little snippets of her crush on him.

7) Rémi Ayasaki

Remi Ayanami

At number 7 on the list of best Horimiya season 2 characters is Remi Ayasaki. Remi is Sengoku's girlfriend and Sakura's best friend.

She's a cute girl with a mischievous attitude and a bit of an airhead. Remi can also be a bit of a brawler, but he's a good person from the inside.

In season 2 of Horimiya, Remi joins the group, and especially Sengoku and Sakura in many crazy adventures.

Like Sengoku, she is absolutely horrible at cooking. She also seems suspicious that Miyamura never participates in swimming lessons.

6) Toru Ishikawa

Toru Ishikawa

The fourth person in Horimiya's love quadruplet, Ishikawa is close friends with Hori and Miyamura. At the beginning of the story, Ishikawa likes Hori and is embarrassed by her sudden closeness to Miyamura.

But after getting to know him, Ishikawa becomes his close friend and one of the few who knows about his tattoos and piercings.

Ishikawa is a good and helpful guy, which makes Sakura fall in love with him. However, he and Yoshikawa began to like each other. In Horimiya season 2, Ishikawa offers one of the funniest scenes when he claims that Miyamura is on her period.

5) Iura shoe

Shuu Iura

The main cast of Horimiya is made up of strange and wacky characters, but even among them, Iura deserves a special mention. He is a classmate and close friend of Ishikawa who eventually becomes good friends with the group.

Iura's most notable trait is his hyperactive nature. The guy is seriously excited about everything.

His relationship with his sister is also very sweet and friendly. He makes every scene fun, and that's why he's one of the best Horimiya characters in season 2.

4) Kakeru Sengoku

Kakeru Sengoku

When Sengoku first appears in the story, he initially comes off as a cool, serious guy who will antagonize the main characters. But that turns out to be the biggest misconception of all, because the guy is completely crazy.

He is Hori's childhood friend who knows what a bully she was as a child. Sengoku is in a relationship with Rémi.

In season 2, he has many hilarious scenes with Miyamura. Sengoku is very thin and very concerned about his figure. He finds many funny excuses to give up physical activity.

3) Kyosuke Hori

Kyosuke Hori

Miyamura may not have been popular in middle school, he is very popular in the Hori house. Kyoko's father, Kyosuke, is tough competition for her for her boyfriend's time when he is in their house.

Kyosuke is mostly away from home for work. But now that he's back, he brings exceptional comedy to the story.

Kyosuke has a strange equation with Kyoko who doesn't seem to respect him at all. But it's his attachment to Miyamura that makes him so funny.

2) Kyoko Hori

Kyoko Hori

One of the two protagonists of the story, Kyoko Hori, is undoubtedly one of the best Horimiya characters of season 2.

Although Hori presents herself as a smart and popular girl at school, she spends her evenings doing household chores and caring for her brother, and has a rowdy and aggressive personality.

Hori first befriends Miyamura after bringing her brother home, but soon falls in love with him. She is very possessive of him and has a masochistic side which confuses her boyfriend. In season 2, Hori's original equation with Miyamura is on full display.

1) Izumi Miyamura

Izumi Miyamura

The best character in Horimiya season 2 is none other than the other part of the title: Miyamura. Initially misunderstood as a dark, introverted child otaku, he is revealed to be a gentle, airy guy with tattoos and piercings. Eventually, he makes several new friends in high school after falling in love with Hori.

Horimiya season 2 gives us insight into the characters throughout the story. So it's easy to notice how different Miyamura is before and after his relationship with Hori began. He's still funny and the little moments he spends with Hori are full of youthful charm.
