Who is Carrot in One Piece?
In her youth, Carrot joined Inuarashi's Musketeer team and was trained in swordsmanship by Sicilians. However, she apparently lacked skill with weapons. Pedro, noticing this, decided to give her a pair of gloves, which became her primary weapon in combat. When the Beast Pirates led by Jack attacked Zou in search of Raizo, Carrot and the rest of Inuarashi's Musketeer team fought them until 6:00 PM, when Inuarashi ordered them to retreat, only to be relieved by Nekomamushi and the Guardians in battle.
The battle against the Beast Pirates lasted five days. Although the minks had the upper hand, they were unable to defeat Jack. On the fifth day of the battle, Calamity lost patience and used Caesar's gas weapon, leaving the mink tribe defeated by the pirate. The next day, Jack left Zou after learning of Doflamingo's capture and defeat.
The minks were later rescued when Sanji and his group arrived in Zou. After Capone Bege kidnapped Sanji and Caesar, Nekomamushi told Carrot and Wanda to keep quiet about the incident. Carrot first appeared spying on Zoro, Law, Usopp, Franky, and Robin once they arrived in Zou, wondering what had happened to Bariete. She eventually decided to attack the intruders, having a brief confrontation with Zoro during which she managed to electrocute him with her claws.

However, Wanda interrupted the battle and informed Carrot that they were not the people she was looking for. She jumped into the air to assess the situation. After speaking to Wanda, she hurriedly left. They later reached the Whale Forest and stopped the confrontation between Luffy and Roddy by calming the Guardians. Due to the rainstorm, Wanda invited Luffy to ride Wanda with her and Carrot.
Carrot then hid on the Thousand Sunny, wanting to go on an adventure, and revealed herself to Sanji's rescue team after they left Zou. The team was surprised to see her on board as she greeted everyone on the ship. When Pedro said they should head back, Carrot asked them to let her go. Vowing not to cause any trouble for the group, Carrot was allowed to join them.
Sanji's rescue team then discovered in a newspaper the Blackbeard Pirates' attack on the Revolutionary Army headquarters in Baltigo, surprising everyone on board. After weathering a storm, Luffy presented his food, which was inedible. Luffy then admitted that he had used up all the food they had, and the group found themselves in a food crisis.
A few days later, Carrot and the rest of the group were starving from lack of food and overheated while wading through boiling water, but were saved from starvation when Luffy managed to catch a giant fish. After Luffy succumbed to food poisoning from eating the fish's deadly toxic skin, Carrot and the others ate a meal prepared by Nami using Sanji's recipe. She later assisted the Straw Hats during the Whole Cake Island Arc.
During the Wano Country Arc, Carrot stumbled upon rubble upon entering the ruins of Oden Castle. When Kin'emon revealed that they were from twenty years ago, the mink was shocked and demanded he explain. The alliance members then honored the graves in the ruins, which is why they were outside when Kaido arrived. This is shown when Carrot, Wanda, and other minks steal food after digging an underground passage.

Carrot and Wanda witness the clash between the Atamayama Thieves and the pirates led by Hold'em. On the day of the fire festival, she spots the port of Onigashima. Once the invasion begins, Carrot and Nami seduce some members of the Beat Pirates so the group can continue. We later see Carrot, Nami, and Zeus captured by Big Mom and her friends. The two girls then launch a combined attack against the friends, and the scene where they defeat them is shown.
Carrot goes to help Wanda, who leads a group of minks to the castle entrance to keep the enemies out, before moving away upon hearing Perospero's voice. Upon reaching the latter, he hesitates to transform into a sulong, but is strengthened by Wanda's words. The scene where the two transform is shown, then they grab Marco when Big Mom throws him at them.
Perospero covers Carrot and Wanda in his syrup. The former, however, manages to free herself, then uses the same technique to free her friend and attack the pirate, damaging his created arm. He sees the minister adjust the latter and trap Wanda in a network of syrup, then make her fall onto a wall of the same material, which breaks, defeating her.
Carrot then attacks the pirate, who defends himself with syrup armor, which the mink manages to defeat. When she attempts to attack him again, her sulong form disappears as the moon is partially covered by clouds. She later leaves the Straw Hats and returns to her home, the Mokomo Duchy, remaining an ally of Luffy and his friends.
How old is Carrot in One Piece?
The Vivre Card – One Piece Visual Dictionary, the sixth One Piece manual, released in 2018, revealed some information about Carrot, including the fact that she is 15 years old, making her one of the youngest characters in the franchise. Her birthday is also known to be on May 24th.
Is Carrot joining the Straw Hats?
She is an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates during the Whole Cake Island Saga and the Wano Country arc, where she joined the Sanji Retrieval Team to rescue Sanji on Whole Cake Island and continued to travel with the crew to Wano Country. She was therefore an unofficial member of the Straw Hat Pirates, but she never joined them like the other crew members. After the Straw Hat Pirates completed their mission in Wano Country, Carrot left them—although remaining an ally—and returned to her duchy, where she was appointed leader.
Does Carrot love Luffy?
Carrot and Luffy are one of the most popular ships in the One Piece world, although it's highly unlikely. Namely, Carrot became attached to the entire Straw Hat Pirates as she was their friend and ally for two arcs. She particularly liked Sanji's cooking and over time, she grew fond of Luffy and his personality.
But from what it seems from our perspective, Carrot never really loved Luffy romantically. She likes him as a friend because he cares about her and wants to protect her, while also appreciating his fun personality. They're quirky and, in that respect, similar, so it makes sense that she's actually close to him, but there's no evidence of romantic feelings between them.
Why did Carrot bite Luffy?
The answer to this question is actually hidden in Carrot's personality analysis. Carrot is impulsive, naive, affectionate, and obviously enjoys stealth games. She seems to want to defend her territory. She is very protective of her country and very aggressive towards intruders. She calls humans a second-rate mink.
Carrot is also protective of the people she cares about; when the Straw Hats were confronted by Germa 66, Carrot was willing to fight the army in order to protect them. She can also be very emotional; when Luffy is about to die from the poison, Carrot tells him not to die and hugs him while crying after the poison is sucked out.
Like a regular rabbit, she enjoys chewing on things, including people like Luffy. She adores carrots to the point that her belongings for the trip to Whole Cake were made entirely of carrots. She also attacked Luffy when he ate one of her carrots. She also enjoys chocolate. Although wild and vicious when invaded, Carrot can be quickly calmed if someone pets the top of her head.
Despite her status as a fighter, she seems naive about serious matters and the world beyond Zou. She was easily excited by events that were new to her. When she heard that Luffy was planning to confront Big Mom and ruin the wedding ceremony, she felt it would be interesting to participate, without realizing the extreme danger she would face.
Can Carrot use Haki in One Piece?
As far as we know, Carrot cannot use any of the three types of Haki in One Piece. This could change later, but from what we know so far, Carrot is not a Haki user. This isn't strange, since Haki is a very powerful and complex skill that is only used by the strongest characters in the One Piece franchise.
