Priscilla Barielle is the matriarch of House Barielle, a royal candidate to become the 42nd King of Lugnica, and is known as The Blood Bride and Princess of the Sun. She has blood-red eyes and long orange hair that she keeps tied back. She prefers red outfits and accessories with black accents. She usually wears an elaborate gown when she goes out and carries an ornate fan in her neckline. At home, she is known to wear a fairly simple sheer gown in her preferred color scheme. Priscilla speaks with a commanding tone and is filled with absolute confidence in her actions.
History
Priscilla Barielle was actually born as Prisca Benedict in the Vollachian Empire and the daughter of its then-emperor, Drizen Vollachia. At some point while growing up, she chose Al as her knight despite the fact that he failed to win the tournament she had organized. She was deemed worthy by the Sword Yang and so, at the age of 12, she participated in the selection ceremony for the Vollachian Empire's emperor. Her childhood friend and sworn sword Arrachia betrayed Prisca in order to save her life from Vincent Vollachia by faking his death. The plot succeeded, and Prisca survived by taking the name Priscilla and assuming the life of one of her deceased body doubles.
Shortly after, she married her first husband, Jorah Pendleton. Over the next few years, she remarried repeatedly, each husband, including Jorah, meeting an untimely and unnatural end. Throughout this time, she found herself sold to the Kingdom for her extraordinary beauty. Her string of husbands eventually led her to Leip Barielle, an earl of the Kingdom who also died, leaving her as matriarch of House Barielle. This primarily worked in her favor, as the citizens were angered by the late earl, and she was able to win them over.
Throughout this time, she has continued to push through despite all the problems fate has thrown her way, and so it is no surprise that Priscille firmly believes that the world is made in her favor. This is when the royal selection begins and she meets Subaru for the first time. She is the one who allows Subaru to enter the official ceremony that kicks off the royal selection, claiming that it would amuse him. Much later, she will join the other royal candidates in Priestelle and carry her own weight in the fight against Sirius None.
The author stated that she would be introduced in Arc 7.
Relationships
Aldebaran - Al is Priscilla's knight, though he sees himself more as her guardian. He has been loyal to her since entering her service about ten years ago, and she sees him as a tool and a handyman who exists to entertain her.
Arrachia - Arrachia was Prisca's sworn sword and childhood friend who was forced to betray Prisca out of fear for her life. Due to the success of the plot, Arrachia entered Vincent's service and lost the sight in her left eye, but her friend survived.
Leip Barielle - Leip is Priscilla's late husband. She claims he was a pervert and shows no remorse at his death.
Schult - Schult is a young boy in Priscilla's service and she seems to care about him.

Divine Protection of the Sun - This ability makes Priscilla stronger during the day.
Magic User - Priscilla is capable of using Yang magic and has been shown to be capable of using the spell Akra None.
Sun Disc - It is unknown exactly what this ability is capable of, but the Sun Disc is Priscilla's self-proclaimed ability that she used to stay uncontrollable during her fight with Sirius. In addition to this, it was also capable of protecting others such as Liliana Masquerade.
Extraordinary Luck - Priscilla has a unique attribute that makes it seem as if the world is designed in her favor , and no matter what she chooses, she will always be right and things will always turn out well for her. She has extremely high luck, which permeates her daily life and even helps her in battles. She has great intuition, which allows her to make assumptions that align with her goals.
Equipment
Yang Vollachia Sword - Priscilla is able to materialize and use a red sword adorned with light that can shine like the sun. She mentions that its mana consumption rate is terrible, so she doesn't materialize it when she doesn't need it.
Triple Gem Necklace - A mysterious item in Priscilla's possession that transfers all lethal damage she takes to the artifact. This causes one of the gems embedded within to break, meaning she can absorb up to three of these attacks before losing her protection.
