When Loki fell madly in love with Laura, one of Linlin's daughters, she decided to arrange a political marriage to settle the problems he had with the giants because of her past actions. However, Laura decided to run away, and her mother tried to replace her with Chiffon, but Loki discovered her deception and annulled the marriage, further widening the rift between her and the giants.

As you can see, Elbaf's story is quite rich even though it doesn't feature heavily in the series.
