One Piece: Who Does Zoro Marry? Could It Be Hiyori?

The term "ship" in anime terms is actually a shortened version of the word "relationship" and represents fan-based relationships between characters in the series. So, if you think two characters would be perfect as a couple, you "ship" them together. When it comes to One Piece ships, one of the most commonly discussed characters in this category is Roronoa Zoro, who is incidentally one of the most popular characters in the series. In this article, we've decided to explain if Roronoa Zoro ends up marrying someone in the series and if that person is Kozuki Hiyori from the Wano Country Arc.
Currently, Roronoa Zoro has no romantic interest and is not married. Zoro is not interested in marriage at the moment and will not get married, although he may end up with someone later. As for Kozuki Hiyori, she is quite close to Zoro, and the two became close friends in Wano, but it doesn't look like they will end up getting married.
The rest of this article will explore the potential marriage of Roronoa Zoro, one of the most popular characters in the series. We'll explore Roronoa Zoro's personality, as well as some of the most popular relationships involving him and the characters seen in One Piece, and tell you the likelihood of them getting married. This article won't contain too many spoilers, but you should still be careful how you approach it if you don't know the full story.
Will Zoro marry Hiyori in One Piece?
Before we give you the answer, let's first explore Hiyori and Zoro's relationship in the series. Hiyori recovered from her injuries and spoke graciously to Zoro after he saved her from Kamazo. She now seemed to have complete trust in him after Zoro indicated that he was an ally and knew Momonosuke.
Hiyori's renewed trust in him was evident as she slept next to him, but Zoro was surprised and upset when he awoke. Even though Zoro spared her life, she begged him to give Wano Shusui in exchange for her father's sword, Enma, to Wano. Hiyori demonstrated her unwavering trust in Zoro by refraining from accusing him of theft and handing over Enma despite Kawamatsu's objections.

As you can see, Hiyori and Zoro have become very close over time, but it seems to be more of a friendship than anything else, at least for now. Zoro is a very determined character, and he doesn't seem interested in any kind of romance at the moment, much less marriage. From that perspective, Hiyori is just a good friend of his and not his wife. Is there potential? Sure, but no more so than with any other female character Zoro has grown close to over the years. So no, Zoro is not married to Hiyori, and it's unlikely they'll ever get married.
Who could Roronoa Zoro marry?
In this section, we will discuss some other potential marriage candidates for Roronoa Zoro:
Nico Robin

Zoro was the only one on the team who didn't trust Robin after the Alabasta Arc (he was the only member she couldn't truly bribe or "charm"). Later, he demonstrates a willingness to defend her when she is in danger. For example, he apprehended her when she was about to be killed by Enel and was the first to rush to her aid when Aokiji confronted her.
After the Enies Lobby Arc, Zoro began to trust Robin completely, and the two got along well. According to Usopp, they always speak coldly, even when they say scary things. He began to show the same willingness to risk his life to protect her as the rest of the team. Among the Straw Hats, Zoro and Robin are the calmest and most serious in all situations.
Zoro and Nico Robin seem like a good potential couple, but if they did get married, it seems like they would have to work a lot on their marriage, and we're not sure the chances of them getting married are that high.
We

Nami trusts Zoro's fighting abilities and frequently relies on them; however, she is quite often irritated by his lazy antics, such as his excessive sleeping. Like the rest of the team, Zoro fully trusts her navigational abilities and always obeys her orders. Nami's intelligence allows her to manipulate the ever-introverted swordsman into perpetual debt, and as a result, they frequently argue, usually resulting in Sanji's intervention.
But aside from that, they both happen to be the best drinkers of the Straw Hats. Zoro worries about her safety and frequently comes to her aid. In Skypiea, he constantly feared that Nami would be swallowed; in Thriller Bark, he wondered if Sanji could save Nami, even though he himself was in danger, as Franky pointed out. He also saved her from an attack by Monet on Punk Hazard and Dressrosa. He rushed to save the ship, where Nami was staying, from Doflamingo; he was the only person to stay with the sick Nami when the others were exploring the island, and he assumed her duties as navigator so she could rest.
Nami seems like a somewhat interesting choice, and they could potentially work because they're quirky, but knowing how much they can get on each other's nerves, it would definitely be a dynamic match, which is why we don't think it's possible either.
Tashigi

Tashigi seems to harbor a deep resentment towards Roronoa Zoro. She challenges him to a sword fight after discovering his true identity. Zoro defeats her, but she is unwilling to admit defeat unless he cuts her. Tashigi's goal is to defeat Zoro and bring him to Wado Ichimonji as she believes such a renowned sword should not be in the hands of a criminal; much later, she realizes that Zoro also possesses the Shusui, which piques her interest even more. She obviously begins to respect his massive strength upon seeing his advanced skills after two years of honing them under Mihawk.
Although this is the odd one out on this list, seeing Tashigi and Zoro end up together wouldn't surprise us. They're on opposing sides, but there's enough attraction between them to make it work, and it would be a great story of reconciliation between the Pirates and the Marines of Luffy's new free world.
