ODDS and ENDS (song by Hatsune Miku)
"ODDS&ENDS" was released on February 27, 2013, and was produced by Ryō. Its theme parallels Ryō's own history as a composer and Vocaloid producer. It describes someone unknown and their struggles to be recognized, but then with the help of Hatsune Miku 's vocals, they are able to overcome barriers together.
The music video features a small robot carrying a television screen that shows Hatsune Miku across the room where the band Supercell is performing and follows her journey to becoming a part of Hatsune Miku herself.
Upon its release, fans expressed their love for the song and video, beyond the wave of emotions felt shortly after following the robot's journey. Within 24 hours of its YouTube release, the video had over 100,000 views and was posted on various social media sites such as Twitter (in Japan and abroad) and Reddit (Western fans). Many fans covered the song by singing along or playing its beautiful melody on the piano. Additionally, Western fans began singing English covers of the song, some with lyrics translated by fans available online while others sang along with their interpretation of those lyrics.
The CD version of ODDS&ENDS featured an original illustration of Miku in a darker shade of orange, matching a lighter shade of orange in the background. Although the CD case was rectangular in shape (odd for the time), the CD proved popular among die-hard fans, with many praising the design for its uniqueness.
"ODDS&ENDS" quickly reached 1,000,000 views on Ryo's YouTube account, and before the video was deleted by SONY, it had accumulated 3 million views. Many comments welcomed Ryo's return to the Vocaloid world, stating that they had missed him and that his return with such a beautiful song was "just like Ryo."

Interpretation
This autobiographical song tells the story of the connection created between a singing synthesizer and a person hated by the world. It's about Ryo's encounter with Miku, and her voice becoming the medium for his words. Once he becomes famous, he abandons composing through Miku, becoming an artist himself. However, he feels a certain loneliness and is accused of having abandoned the roots that brought him to where he is today.
At the end of the song's story, the composer found no way to save the machine and wept in denial, even though the result he had desired had materialized. This final song became the last time she sang to express her feelings of sadness and joy.
