Love-a-Lot Bear Care Bears - BE@RBRICK

The Care Bears remain one of the most iconic toy brands in the world. The concept, a group of bears tasked with promoting kindness, eventually became a huge hit in children's media. Today, the franchise still enjoys a solid reputation among toy manufacturers as it approaches its 40th anniversary. Medicom Toy combines the Care Bear design with the BE@BRICK model figurine for a near-perfect collaboration. One of the latest collaborations, "BE@RBRICK Care Bears Love-a-Lot Bear 100%," showcases the cute charm of the most lovable Care Bear.

Background to the Care Bears and BE@RBRICK collaboration

The Care Bears and BE@RBRICK collaboration began in 2009 with two releases. Further entries in the collaboration will not be announced until late 2016.

Planning and launching the collaboration

The first Care Bears entries in the BE@RBRICK line included a True Heart Bear keychain and a 400%-sized Cheer Bear figure. The Cheer Bear figure was relaunched in 2017 alongside the launch of the Grumpy Bear figure . In 2018, Funshine Bears debuted with 400%- and 100%-sized figures. The next BE@RBRICK Care Bears were Bedtime Bear and Good Luck Bear, both released in 2019. In 2021, Love-a-Lot Bear is the latest addition to the Care Bears and BE@RBRICK line. The release of Love-a-Lot Bear coincided with Medicom Toy's production of a Cheer Bear plush in 2020.

BE@RBRICK Care Bears 100% Love Bears

This fun-sized Love-a-Lot Bear figure still captures her larger-than-life capacity for love. Her main body is covered in a soft strawberry pink that matches her 2010s design. The two hearts on her belly include a light yellow outline to make them pop against the white fur on her underbelly. She has three eyelashes over each eye, the distinguishing feature of the Care Bear girls. The paint detail of a tuft of fur on top of her snout gives the figure an extra artistic touch. Her Care Bear heart mark on her rump completes the cute package.

About the Care Bears

About Love-a-Lot Bear

Love-a-Lot Bear is one of the original Care Bears with bright pink fur and a pair of red and pink hearts on her belly. Her personality is similar to that of eight of the other main Care Bears, but she tends to focus more on love. She has a special task among the Care Bears: to function as Cupid and help others find love. Love-a-Lot Bear also has the same belly badge power as the other Care Bears and can use the Care Bear Stare. She has a verbal tic and tends to use the word "love" often in her speech. Her best friend is Tenderheart Bear, and she is often seen hanging out with him.

Friend Bear

Friend Bear is one of the 10 original Care Bears released in 1982. She has peach-colored fur with a pair of daisies on her belly. She is the most sociable of the Care Bears and emphasizes the importance of friendship. Her main role in the franchise is to support her friends and offer herself as a confidant, friend, or sidekick. Although she is friends with everyone she meets, she considers her best friend to be Love-a-Lot Bear. Many future Care Bears resemble Friend Bear in name and power, such as Best Friend Bear and Amigo Bear.

Good luck, bear

Good Luck Bear was created alongside Love-a-Lot Bear in 1982. He is a bright green bear with a matching four-leaf clover belly badge. As his name suggests, Good Luck Bear is a Care Bear who never lacks luck. Although he can create infinite four-leaf clovers with his belly badge, his own luck comes from his positive outlook, not magic. He helps others by emphasizing their self-worth and the power of positivity to prove there is no such thing as bad luck. In the original series and the 2012 film, Good Luck Bear speaks with an Irish accent. His best friend is Funshine Bear because of their shared optimism.

Elephant with a lot of heart

Lotsa Heart Elephant is one of the Care Bear Cousins who debuted in 1984. The Care Bear Cousins are a group of animals from the Forest of Feelings who sometimes show up to help the Care Bears. Lotsa Heart Elephant is a bright pink elephant with a heart-shaped nostril on the end of his trunk and a pink weight-shaped badge in his hand. When using his badge, Lotsa Heart Elephant physically "talks sense" to people. They help people realize that they are full of love and that love is the greatest force of all.
