The Attack on Titan franchise created, written, and illustrated by [Hajime Isayama] has spawned a large number of popular characters. Here is a list of some significant and important characters in the history of Attack on Titan with a brief introduction to each character.
Eren Jaeger
Eren Jaeger is the main protagonist of the Attack on Titan story. He can be impulsive at times and is very brave, although he is not strong enough. He can transform into Attack on Titan .
Mikasa Ackerman
Mikasa Ackerman is one of the strongest characters in the 104th Training Corps and later in the Survey Corps. As a child, she lacked the courage to kill anyone, but over the course of the story, she becomes one of the strongest fighters against the Titans. She is one of the main characters in the story and Eren's adoptive sister.
Armin Arlert
Armin Arlert is Eren and Mikasa's best friend. He joined the Survey Corps with Eren and Mikasa. He is not known for his strength, but rather for being able to come up with good plans and strategies that have helped save his fellow Survey Corps members on several occasions. He is also someone who doesn't give up easily. Eren and Mikasa protected him as a child.
Levi Ackerman
Levi Ackerman has earned a lot of love among his fans. He is obsessed with cleanliness and is the squad leader. He is considered the strongest soldier in the Survey Corps and a protector of humanity. He is sometimes seen as cold because he does not easily express his emotions.
Krista Lenz
Krista Lenz is a very short girl who managed to graduate as the tenth best soldier in the 104th Training Corps. During the story, she decides to assume her true identity as Historia Riess and a virtuous queen, and thanks to the Survey Corps' revolution against the royal government, she manages to ascend to the throne. She is very kind and very close to Ymir.
Hange Zoe
Hange Zoë is the commander of the Survey Corps and a leader in Titan research. She has a friendly and cheerful personality, and enjoys her job, especially experimenting with Titans.
Sasha blouse
Sasha Blouse belongs to the Survey Corps and was formerly nicknamed "Potato Girl." She is good at cooking and loves to eat. As for her personality, she is sociable and cheerful.
Erwin Smith
Erwin Smith is the thirteenth commander of the Survey Corps. Intelligent and respected, Erwin is a capable man who, like Levi, cares for his men and does not hesitate to sacrifice himself for the future of humanity. He developed remote training for enemy detection, a strategy that greatly benefited the Survey Corps, as it provided a 30% increased chance that soldiers would not die.
Jean Kirstein
Jean Kirstein belongs to the Survey Corps because Marco Bott, before he died, urged him to do so instead of joining the [Military Police Brigade]. He is sincere but sometimes a bit aggressive and also a competitive boy.
Connie Springer
Connie Springer He currently belongs to the Survey Corps and gets along well with Sasha Blouse. He is optimistic and is always willing to help.
Ymir
None Ymir Fritz is a selfish, pessimistic, tough, and arrogant girl, but deep down, she is a noble and kind person, especially with Krista Lenz. In the manga Attack on Titan , it has been confirmed that she is actually over 60 years old and has feelings for Krista. She can transform into Titan's Jawbone. None

Annie Leonhart was a recruit in the 104th Training Corps, ranked fourth in the top 10 of her group. She is a former member of the Military Police. She can transform into a Female Titan and her personality is cold, calm, and solitary.
Reiner Braun
Reiner Braun is Bertolt Hoover's best friend. He is serious and encouraging. He is a graduate of the 104th Training Corps, second in the top 10, and a former member of the Survey Corps. He can transform into the Armored Titan .
Bertolt Hoover
Bertolt Hoover is a graduate of the 104th Training Corps, third in the top 10, and a former member of the Survey Corps. He is also shy, quiet, and has little self-esteem. He is tall, and his best friend is Reiner Braun. He can transform into the Colossal Titan .
Zeke Jaeger
Zeke Jaeger is a warlord of the Eldian warriors who serve the government of Marley in an effort to reclaim power from the Coordinates and eliminate the Eldians who inhabit the walls. The son of Grisha Jaeger and Dina Fritz, and the older half-brother of Eren, Zeke is one of the last descendants of the Fritz royal family. He also has the ability to transform into the Beast Titan. Grisha Jaeger
Grisha Jaeger is the father of Eren Jaeger and Zeke Jaeger. He was an Eldian physician, born in the Liberian internment zone of Marley, and a member of the Eldian Restorationists. Grisha was also a shapeshifting Titan.
Carla Jaeger
Carla Jaeger is the mother of Eren Jaeger, adoptive mother of Mikasa, and wife of Dr. Grisha Jaeger. Carla was killed by a Titan during the attack on the Shiganshina district in 845.
Rod Reiss
Rod Reiss was Historia Reiss's biological father and the true king. He was a man with the greatest influence and political power within the Walls. His goal was to reclaim the Reiss family's power, stolen by Grisha Jaeger, which was transferred to Eren.
Kenny Ackermann
Kenny Ackermann is Levi Ackermann's uncle and mentor. He was a member of the Military Police's Central Division and also a captain of the Anti-Human Repression Squad. In the past, he was an infamous murderer who killed over a hundred members of the Military Police, becoming known as Kenny the Ripper.
