Fate Illyasviel von Einzbern

Illyasviel von Einzbern - Destiny

Background

Also known as "Illya," Illyasviel von Einzbern is the daughter of Kiritsugu Emiya and Irisviel von Einzbern. She was groomed by her family, the Einzberns, to be a living vessel for the Grail, also known as a homunculus. Although she is an artificial human, her mother Irisviel von Einzbern (also a homunculus) was given a womb so she could carry her to term and give birth to her. She is also a vessel for the Grail. When her body is destroyed, she will become the Holy Grail.

Appearance

Illya has long white hair and red eyes. She doesn't age like a normal human due to the immense amount of magical circuits in her body (70%). They were added before and after her birth through painful procedures. Thanks to all this, she will never go through puberty. She looks the same at 18 as she did at 8.

In Fate/Kaleid, Prisma Illya has the same physical appearance but wears several different casual outfits, including her school uniforms and Magical Girl outfits. She is also able to obtain cosmic wings.

Personality

Illya has two sides to her personality that can be compared to those of her parents. On the outside, she resembles her mother, Irisviel von Einzbern, who was positive, cheerful, and friendly. On the inside, she is more like her father, adopting his attributes of being callous, remorseless, and unstable. She feels lonely because she is held in Einzbern Castle and has no friends. Her heart is also marked by his abandonment of her father, who gave up the Grail, as well as his decision to adopt and raise another child, Shirou Emiya. However, her father made attempts to reach her, but the magic field around the castle was never abandoned by Jubstacheit, Illya's grandfather. She feels somewhat jealous of Shirou, but eventually grows closer to him.

In Fate/Kaleid, Prisma Illya is a fan of anime and cute things like plushies and animals. She starts out shy but matures throughout the series, though she is still prone to temper tantrums. She is often the moral compass of her friends.

SKILLS

She is the most powerful of the Masters of the past and present because her body is composed of 70% magic circuits. This allows her to use her command spells on the Berserker Hercules, who would normally be able to ignore them. Her magic circuits glow throughout her body, from her face to her legs. She also has an unlimited supply of mana. She is also one of the best mages. She can also create autonomous beings that defend her and pursue targets, even being able to shoot them. This ability is called Engel Note: Angel's Poem.

In Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya She can use Kaleidosticks (Magic Ruby and Magic Sapphire) which grant her different abilities. She can also use them simultaneously. She is also able to induce and install class cards. She is immune to brainwashing. She can easily befriend her enemies.

What is a Homunculus?

Homunculi are a type of being created by magic rather than natural methods. All the information they receive is known at birth, and they reach their adult bodies much faster than humans. They possess a powerful magic circuit that grants them special powers that humans do not have. In a way, some of the Einzbern Homunculi are the same beings because they share the same memories as Justeaze. The Einzberns are not the only mages to create Homunculi.
