In which episode does Zoro first learn and use Haki in One Piece?

We all know that Roronoa Zoro is one of the most powerful One Piece characters. One of the protagonists of the series, Zoro has demonstrated fascinating skills over the years and has fought (and defeated) some of the most powerful One Piece villains. Luffy also confirmed that he could use Haki some time before Zoro used it for the first time. In this article, we'll give you more details on Zoro's use of Haki, as you'll discover when he learned it and when he first used it.
Zoro first used Haki in episode 719 of the One Piece anime, titled "A Decisive Battle in the Air - Zoro's New Special Secret Techniques!", which continued in episode 720, titled "So Long! Bellamy's Parting Blow!". Luffy had earlier confirmed that Zoro was capable of using Haki and we know that he perfected it with Mihawk during the time-skip, after which he used it in a battle for the first time.
The rest of this article will focus on Zoro's character in One Piece. We'll tell you everything we know about his Haki abilities, which will include details from the episode, as well as some general information. This article may contain a smaller number of spoilers, so be careful while reading.
In which episode does Zoro learn and use Haki?
The first time Monkey D. Luffy mentioned that Roronoa Zoro was capable of using Haki was in Chapter 668, when Luffy confirmed that Zoro was capable of using Busoshoku Haki to fight Caesar. Now, it took a while before we saw Zoro use it, but we also discovered that Zoro honed his Haki during the two-year time skip, during which he trained with Dracule Mihawk. All of this led to Zoro using Busoshoku Haki for the first time in One Piece episode 719, titled "A Decisive Battle in the Air - Zoro's New Special Secret Techniques!", which continued in episode 720, titled "Too Bad!" Bellamy's Parting Shot! So, what happened?
Zoro reaches Orlumbus and asks him to use the same technique he used to throw a person a great distance. Pica, meanwhile, prepares to crush Riku Dold III and everyone with him on the former royal plateau. The former king orders everyone to flee, as he intends to stay so the attack will focus solely on him, but the people decide not to abandon him. As Pica extends his arm to crush them all, Orlumbus throws Zoro at his target.
The swordsman then uses Haki for the first time, along with the Three Swords Technique, to cut the opponent's golem horizontally in half. Pica maintains control of the upper half of the statue, and Zoro then cuts it vertically in half. With successive attacks, he increasingly reduces the area in which the opponent can move. Pica then emerges and covers his entire body with Armament Haki. Both opponents attack, and Zoro defeats Pica. The rubble from the stone golem still threatens to crush the rubble from the former plateau. Elizabello II intervenes with his prodigious King Punch and hurls the rubble a great distance, complaining about the undignified use of his attack.
As you can see, Zoro used Haki for the first time in battle and it was a truly majestic display of power for him.
Can Zoro use all three types of Haki?
Zoro is one of the few people to possess all three forms of Haki. This is a very rare feat, and few One Piece characters possess this skill. Most of them can use one or two at best, but only the most skilled and powerful characters can actually use all three types of Haki. Now, we'll tell you about his Haki skills.
Zoro has shown that he can use the basics of this type of Haki to detect the presence of others. When Luffy, while on Fish-Man Island, asked him if he had sensed anything, he and Sanji stated that they were able to discern Caribou's presence in the Ryuugu Palace, indicating that he could use Kenbunshoku Haki. In the anime, Zoro also used Kenbunshoku Haki to discern Pica's position within his stone colossus.
After two years of training, Zoro is able to use Busoshoku Haki. It is already known that in Punk Hazard, during the battle against Monet in the "cookie room" of Caesar Clown's laboratory, Zoro shouts to Nami, Chopper, and Robin that they take care of the children (referring to the children that Clown had kidnapped for his experiments), since he himself would be fighting Monet, whose Devil Fruit is of the Logia type.
Zoro demonstrates a high level of skill with Busoshoku Haki by slashing Pica, a member of the Donquixote family, and has a higher level since he had no problem slashing Pica who was fighting with his entire body covered in this Haki. During his time as a ronin in Wano Country, Zoro demonstrated the ability to imbue weapons other than his usual swords with Busoshoku Haki, such as a tanto and a scythe. Zoro's control over this type of Haki also allowed him to overpower Enma, whose ability absorbs its user's Haki to release excess Haki during attacks.
When Enma tried to absorb all of his Haki, Zoro quickly managed to reclaim it, which Hitetsu states had he been a normal swordsman, he would have stood no chance and collapsed instantly. In his fight against Kaidou Zoro, he decides to use all of his remaining strength to try to defeat the Emperor with his Ashura Bakkei: Moja no Tawamure attack, an attack in which Kaidou is detected by the swordsman's Haoshoku Haki.
Zoro seemed to use it subconsciously since he didn't know what it meant. During his match with King and attempting to stabilize Enma's use, Zoro decided to release as much Haki as possible, thus provoking it to activate, knocking out the Beast Pirates members and covering their katanas with it in the process. In the anime, Zoro uses it subconsciously when he becomes angry with several Beast Pirates members after learning that they stole Okobore Town's sake, leaving several of them unconscious.
