Synopsis
The "Awesome Ones" - Dan Kouzo and his friends Shun Kazami, Wynton Styles, Lia Venegas, and Lightning the dog, make videos and post them on ViewTube. A series of strange events leads them to discover the strange biomechanical creatures known as Bakugan. Befriending them, the guys begin using the Bakugan to fight while defending their hometown from malevolent forces who want to use the Bakugan for their own benefit.
Background
A collaboration with Canadian toy company Spin Master, Bakugan: Battle Planet is a multimedia project and toy line. The franchise's revival was announced in October 2018, and the first season of the television anime premiered on April 1, 2019.
Johnny Jr.'s sub-unit, the HiHi Jets, will sing the opening theme song "Jonetsu Jamboree" and the ending theme song "Be My Story."

Dan Kuso (Voice of: Rie Takahashi)
Dan Kouzo is the protagonist of the series and an extremely curious and energetic young boy. He loves Bakugan and is ready to take on any challenge that comes his way with his partner Dragonoid by his side.
Dragonoid (Voiced by: Shunsuke Takeuchi)
Dragonoid is a proud Bakugan with the majesty of a king. He is super strong and excellent at attacking, but has a passionate heart and lacks adaptability.
Styles Wynton (Voiced by: Jun Fukushima)
Wynton Styles is Dan's childhood friend and is good at discovering new weapons. He loves playing tricks on people.
Trox (Voiced by: Shun Horie)
Trox is an extremely intelligent Bakugan. He has a gentle nature but is never afraid. He is skilled at combat strategies.
Lia Venegas (Chinatsu Akasaki)
Lia Venegas is the Awesome Ones' camerawoman. A cheerful girl who loves filming videos, Lia can also be daring.
Pegatrix (Voiced by: Kaori Nazuka)
Pegatrix is a noble, princess-type Bakugan. She is extremely logical and intellectual.
Shun Kazami (voiced by: Yumi Uchiyama)
Shun Kazami, calm and mature, displays unusual enthusiasm for Bakugan. He is the son of the boss of a multinational corporation.
**Hydorous **(Voice of: Aoi Ichikawa)
Calm and composed, Hydorous is a veteran of Bakugan battles. Gifted with logical judgment, he is often able to defeat his opponent with well-placed blows.
Lightning (Voiced by: Aki Kanada)
Lightning is a dog, but he's also an extremely valuable member of the team! He's a very intelligent dog and can even fight with Bakugan.
Howler (Voiced by: Daichi Kanbara)
Howlkor is a solitary and stoic Bakugan who doesn't tend to talk much. He is extremely fierce and good at fighting.
Magnus (Voice of: Shohei Kajikawa)
Shrouded in mystery, Magnus is Dan's rival.
