Anastasia Hoshin is the head of the Hoshin Trading Company, also known as the Greedy Princess . Anastasia is a royal candidate to become the 42nd King of Lugnica. She has a petite figure, blue-green eyes, and long, wavy purple hair that extends to her hips. She tends to wear a long, plain white dress with a scarf wrapped around her shoulders that resembles a cape, and a large, wallet-like purse. She also wears a fluffy white hat and a star-shaped hairpin in her hair. In her younger years, she had shorter hair and wore a small kimono with polka dots on the sleeves. Anastasia speaks a Kansai dialect and is energetic and confident in her speaking style, a self-proclaimed greedy person who is never satisfied with what she has.
History
Anastasia's parents died when she was young, leaving her an orphan. She met Ricardo . Anastasia, who was a slave at the time, while working as a bartender, declared that she would be the one to remove his slave collar. Meanwhile, Anastasia had run into trouble with the city's Chamber of Commerce. Ricardo promised his help in settling his debts, and so they arrived at the Chamber together. After the Chamber leader insulted Ricardo, Anastasia angrily demanded that her collar be removed. She was told that she already had a huge debt, and adding Ricardo's debt would greatly damage her credit. However, Anastasia produced a bag containing enough coins to not only pay off her debt but also free Ricardo. Afterward, the two were left with Anastasia's debt paid off and Ricardo now free. As a token of gratitude, he pledges his allegiance to her and will continue to be by her side from that moment on.
Later, Anastasia found herself working for the Ryuushika Business Association. She eventually managed to amass enough wealth to purchase the company and rename it the Hoshin Trading Company. During discussions with the Juukulius family and in hopes of expanding into the Kingdom of Lugnica, she discovered she was eligible to participate in the royal selection, and her ambition immediately grew to become the owner of a country.
Very soon after the ceremony formalizing the royal candidates, she was approached by Subaru who proposed a temporary alliance, promising her valuable resources and the elimination of the White Whale . She in turn committed her permanent combat force to his ends. About a year after this incident, Anastasia invited all the other royal candidates to Priestella in the Kararagi City States where she was based for the discussions.
Unfortunately, before they could get very far, the city was attacked by four archbishops of Sin. The royal candidates were forced to unite to face the threat, with Anastasia playing a crucial role thanks to her connections and expertise in the city. Unfortunately, during a battle with Capella Emerada Lugnica, her artificial spirit, Echidna, was forced to take control of Anastasnia's body to save her life. However, something went wrong as Echidna was unable to relinquish her control. Once the Priestella incident was resolved, Anastasia's body, piloted by Echidna, joined Subaru and Emilia's team to seek out Sage Shaula to try to understand the situation with the body control.
Relationships
Julius Juukulius - Julius is Anastasia's knight, and the two have known each other for about seven years. He officially supported her in the royal selection, and they have a genuine camaraderie and care for each other.
Ricardo Welkin - Ricardo leads Anastasia 's personal mercenary group Beast Human. They have known each other for over 10 years now and he is one of her most trusted confidants.
Mimi, Hetaro, and Tivey Pearlbaton - Mimi Pearlbaton is the Iron Fang 's second-in-command, and the triplets together make up a powerful support force for the mercenary group. All three are powerful mages, and Anastasia often relies on their expertise to handle both social situations (due to their unassuming appearance) and combat situations.
Subaru Natsuki - Anastasia has taken advantage of Subaru's naiveté before, but he has learned a lot about political maneuvering from her. During their time in Priestella, Anastasia was able to rely somewhat on Subaru's insight.
Echidna (Artificial Spirit) - Echidna is an artificial spirit that normally takes the form of Anastasia's scarf. Echidna herself is interested in Anastasia, which is what caused the spirit to attach itself to her in the first place. During the events of Priestella, Echidna was forced to possess Anastasia's body to protect her from danger.
SKILLS
Normal Person - Anastasia is a human without Divine Protections or any magical abilities due to a hereditary defect in her Gate. This latter problem actually becomes a problem for Echidna as her possession and powers consume a lot of mana, which Anastasia does not readily have.
Businesswoman - Anastasia is an extremely skilled businesswoman who has built a business empire from scratch in just a few decades. This skill has been noted to be completely natural and not augmented.
