Probably the most popular anime dog on this list is Akamaru. The white-furred dog is a ninja dog, trained by the Inuzuka clan. He has been with his master Kiba since he was just a puppy and Kiba is a little boy. Powerful and fiercely loyal, Akamaru is also Kiba's best friend.
Like other Inuzuka dogs, Kiba is trained in both fighting and hunting. In fact, all of Kiba's powerful jutsu depend on Akamaru. But that might not be easy to guess from Akamaru's adorable face, with his eyes still adorably narrowed.
