Akira Tendou's Bucket List: Explained

In Bucket List of the Dead, there is a very particular bucket list throughout the chapters. This was Akira Tendou's bucket list, which he had started. Now all the other characters also write their wishes and goals in this to-do list.

There are 94 things mentioned in Akira Tendou's to-do list, in the later chapters. It makes us curious to see the wishes of some of our favorite characters, and also whether they are complete or not.

Akira Tendou's Bucket List: Introduction

At the end of chapter 2, Akira understood that he was now a free man. In this he can do whatever he wants. So, he decides to create a bucket list, to remind himself of the things he wants to do.

Later in the series, even , and Izuna begin writing their wishes on this list. With all the things combined that they wanted to do, the list now reaches 94 things.

However, not all of these 94 things were completed. There are still many things the characters have yet to realize. With this, we can also be sure that the series will not end anytime soon, even though the bucket list has reached 94.

Why do Akira Tendou and his friends make a bucket list?

realized he wanted to be free and created this bucket list. Rather than sulk, he decides that he wants to turn a new page in his life, doing everything he wanted to do since he was a child.

The list started with Akira, but it expanded to the rest of the main cast pretty quickly as well. It's a way of showing that they really trust each other. It was thanks to Akira that he was able to change Kenichirou, Shizuka and Takeru.

Thanks to this, they were also able to achieve their . For example, Shizuka remembers her childhood dream of becoming a doctor and puts it on her bucket list.

The reason they all did this was quite simple. They just wanted to write down everything they wanted to do, while they were alive. This is how the whole bucket list came to be.
