How to remove stains from my figurines
Yes, the figurines may contain stains, this may be due to its age, or poor conservation. You may receive a brand new figurine with a paint stain so below I will give you solutions, and recommendations for each of them, also if you have any other alternatives please share, or if you have any further questions please do so and I will edit the entry.
I think this covers most of the common issues we may encounter when we get a figure, especially a used figure.
A) Eraser
Believe it or not, erasers can work wonders when faced with stains, most of them can easily disappear with a few tries, so your first and obvious solution will always be an Eraser.
OBS: Please use a clean eraser; If you use a dirty eraser, you will likely create new spots on your face.
OBS 2: Be careful using erasers on figures with black parts, the eraser can turn the black paint white or gray, so you will create another stain and it will be impossible to remove.

Good for: Black stains, paint transfer stains, general stains, poor conservation stains.
B) Soaking in soapy water
For stains created by poor conservation, figurines blackened by dust or with several black spots due to dirt, yes use a neutral soap and soak your figurine under water, use a soft sponge and you will remove everything, do not Don't worry you won't damage it as long as you take care of it.
C) Soak in water
This method is good for figurines yellowed by time or smoke, especially white colors, over time they tend to yellow, so to clean them put your figurine under water and leave it in a mixture, you can use vinegar or lemon in the mixture to restore the figurine to its former glory, after that use a soft sponge and soap.
D) Alcohol
Alcohol is a powerful ally against stubborn stains, some can be difficult to remove and even praying to the gods of the figurine you will not be able to remove them... Try alcohol, use a small piece of cotton, soak it the alcohol and gently pass it over the stain, it will remove it for sure.
OBS: I have never seen, read or experienced any problems with alcohol, I mean it can remove the stain but doesn't really damage the paint on the figure, so as far as I know or know I saw it, go for it! But you never know, take it easy.
E) Acetone for my Naruto Figure
Acetone can easily remove almost any type of stain! But it can also remove original paint, details, shine, PVC..... In fact, it can remove everything, even melt your figure, so be CAREFUL when using it.
Do you know these cotton swabs? Yes ? Use them, soak them in acetone, dry them a little and rub them gently on the stain.
F)Diluent
The thinner is used in the same way as acetone, but with caution. Thinner is only recommended for huge paint stains that you were unable to remove with the solutions above.
