Yoichi Isagi is the protagonist of the Blue Lock manga and is the character who has experienced the most growth in terms of abilities. Isagi was also chosen by Jinpachi Ego because he was the kind of person Ego wanted.

Shoei Barou is one of the major supporting characters in the series, and has been shown to have a good rivalry with Isagi. He is one of the best strikers in Blue Lock, and this fact has been accepted by Marc Snuffy.
