The Great Pretender sequel confirmed for 2024

Great Pretender , an original anime from Studio Wit, has confirmed a sequel that will premiere worldwide in 2024!

Under the title Great Pretender: Razbliuto , the sequel will feature a new character, a talented con artist named Dorothy.

Directed by Hiro Kaburagi, Great Pretender aired from June to September 2020. The story follows Makoto "Edamame" Edamura, a conman launched into the world of international fraud after trying to deceive a French conman.

Kaburagi will once again direct the new season and will once again handle series composition alongside Taku Kishimoto. Hirotaka Kato will handle the character designs, and Hirotaka Kato and Shosuke Ishibashi will be the chief animation directors.

Great Pretender: Razbliuto will be released worldwide in 2024.
