Plot

The Quintessential Quintuplets is a harem romantic comedy about a poor but brilliant high school student, Fuutaro Uesugi, who finds himself hired to train the Nakano quintuplets. As he begins to spend more time with them and gets to know each of the sisters, he begins to care for them who, in turn, all end up falling in love with him.

But what is only revealed later is that Fuutaro had met one of the Nakano sisters when he was a child and that girl is his first love. However, he does not know which of the five sisters he actually met in his childhood.

The story is not only full of romance between the male main character and the five love interests, but there are also many wholesome bonding moments between the sisters that make this story so different from other harem anime. Their love for each other and the way they always support each other even though they are all in love with the same man are some of the many charms of this story.
