He was the king of Sparta in ancient times and did not care about any form of divine punishment. However, his hatred for Apollo made him accept the Round 9 invitation.
Leonidas is a competent fighter, also recognized by Apollo in his ongoing fight. As of now, we can't say for sure if he is more powerful than Apollo or not.
But he unleashed deadly moves in his fight, which Apollo tried to avoid at all costs.
Past of King Leonidas in Record Of Ragnarok
To know its past, you have to start from 480 BC. It was at this time that Prince Xerxes I summoned a massive army of 300,000 men to conquer Sparta and even Athens.
Prince Xerxes I had timed his invasion to align with the famous festival of Carneia. The Spartans were not expected to engage in military action or combat during this period, as stated by the Oracle of Apollo.
The Elders also decided not to anger Apollo and to take action once the Festival was over. It is then that we see Leonidas enter, who still wants to fight and does not believe in these prophecies.
He said he didn't care about any God because he hadn't met any. Leonidas also broke the statue of Apollo to prove that he did not care about divine punishment.
He just wanted to protect his country from enemies. The Elders were angry and proclaimed that he would get no support in this battle. But Leonidas had already gained a supporter, Haggis, who was ready to fight.
Very quickly, around 300 Spartan soldiers followed him, with the same intention of defending their country. Leonidas was surprised by the determination of these people and asked them if they had any regrets.
After hearing their response, he grabbed his spear and shield to stop the invasion. After hearing Haggis' honest response and his emotions, he asked this army to do whatever they wanted.
With only a small force of 300 soldiers, he resisted this invasion of 300,000 soldiers. There were also very few casualties, which shows how fierce fighters the Spartans were.
Thanks to their determination, the rest of Greece also responded to their call and sent more reinforcements. Leonidas did not stop there as he fought Prince Xerxes 1 in this battle.
And the rest is history. King Leonidas and his army had won this battle. This incident has been etched in the pages of history to be known as a showcase of the brave and fierce nature of the Spartans.

- He also possesses immense raw strength and demonstrated it several times in this fight.

Comparison with other human fighters
1) Adam
quickly won the victory in this category. Adam has extraordinary base attributes, and Leonidas is not yet close to Adam's stats. Some of Leonidas' moves are powerful, but it would be fatal if he could pull them off.
Adam's speed far exceeds Leonidas' and he can easily evade all of his Phalanx moves.
2) Qin Shi Huang
Leonidas is on level, but the latter has more advantages thanks to more hacks. Even though Qin Shi Huang's raw attributes are lacking, his extreme abilities can stop some top opponents, such as .
3) Sasaki Kojirō
Leonidas could have around the same power level as Sasaki Kojiro if he was considered for the fight. This means that he had specific abilities and powers to deal with Poseidon easily.
These are all Leonidas' skills, abilities known so far. Since the fight has only just begun, we will get a clear idea of his power level in the coming chapters. Check out some of our other exciting and similar Ragnarok recordings.
